Electronics And Communication Engineering

Electronic communications has had a profound effect on modern society. In particular, the very rapid growth of personal communications , such as mobile phones and satellite communication, has changed the way we all work . The Department facilitates an interdisciplinary approach which is designed to meet the future needs of industry.

The Department involves itself in research activities and "Remote Sensing of Noise and Vibration using VLSI" is an on -going project under the TAPTEC scheme. The department is also a member of the IEEE and ISTE. It feels proud of conducting National and International seminars and, in the year 2003, a national level seminar was conducted on "Emerging trends in Communication & Networks". Apart from these seminars the department also conducts Guest Iectures, inviting various resource persons from all around the country.

The students are trained accordingly that they will gain in-depth experience with hardware and software systems and undertake a Significant level of project-based work, which will help the students to compete effectively in the communications industry.
