Master of Engineering Computer aided Design and Computer aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) program which was started in 2003 for students who desire a complete professional education than a four-year BE Degree can provide.

Students entering the M.E degree in CAD/CAM must have either Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Automobile Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering/Industrial Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/Marine Engineering/Aeronautical Engineering.

This program prepares students for design positions that require skillful and imaginative solutions to solve engineering problems in their specialization. It gives students greater breadth and depth of technical knowledge it synthesize and apply the concepts learnt to provide experience in team-based engineering design projects it also emphasis is on mathematical modeling and the application of quantitative techniques associated with design, manufacturing, optimization.

The department has a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty. Students in this program are provided with good computational knowledge and exposed to mechanical engineering software. This program may help to improve the research activities at the department are progressing in the areas of mentioned above.
