Entrepreneurship Development Committee (EDC)
The Entrepreneurship Development Committee (EDC) was started in the Arunai Engineering College in 2019 with the object of promoting specialized knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship development. Entrepreneurship Development Cell has been started to create job providers rather than job seekers among our students. The cell strives to identify talented youth to entrepreneurial works. The cell plans to organize various programs regarding entrepreneurship development.
The Entrepreneurship Development Committee is committed to nurture and develop entrepreneurial skills in experiential manner among the students community.
The mission of EDC is to mould entrepreneurial thinking in our students and to create a business opportunity in and out of the campus with a great stability to achieving social and economic progress through entrepreneurship.
To create awareness among the students of the Institution regarding entrepreneurship as a career option.
To provide guidance and facilities to first time entrepreneurs during gestation.
To conduct programs in Entrepreneurship enabling skills.
Motivate students to develop their own startups.
Develop business incubators.
To provide a platform for interaction with entrepreneurs.
Impart entrepreneurial education/skills amongst students through various trainings and exercise.
